David Collins

CFO, HBSE at HBSE

David Collins is the current CFO of HBSE. Prior to their current position, they held various finance positions with the Philadelphia 76ers, New Jersey Devils, and Prudential Center. In September 2011, they joined Base Entertainment as their Executive VP of Finance/CFO.

During their time with Base Entertainment, David successfully stepped into a Finance/Accounting department that was in need of reorganization. David developed and implemented effective controls, processes and procedures between Finance and Operations which greatly increased the reporting effectiveness to Management and Board. David also implemented numerous procedures to increase overall profitability of contracts and leases.

In February 2014, David left Base Entertainment to join HBSE as their CFO. In their current role, David is responsible for overseeing all finance and accounting functions for HBSE. Duties include treasury management; budgeting; monitoring and improving communication between operations and finance departments; developing and maintaining bank relationships; monthly financial reporting to management and Board of Directors; capital raising; due diligence on potential investments; and preparation and oversight for third party audits.

David Collins has a Bachelor's in Accounting from Villanova University, and also went to Christian Brothers Academy and Holmdel.

David Collins reports to Thaddeus Brown, CEO. A direct report to David Collins is and Paul Dicicco - SVP, Corporate Controller, HBSE. They are on a team with Lara Price - EVP, HBSE & COO, Philadelphia 76ers, David Blitzer - Founder, and Michael Prindiville - CEO, Dignitas.
