Amanda Isaac

Amanda Isaac is an experienced musculoskeletal radiologist and editor currently serving as the Editor for the Musculoskeletal Section at European Journal of Radiology since March 2025. In addition to this role, Amanda is a Specialist Committee Member at NICE, focusing on AI detection of vertebral fragility fractures and early valuation assessments for AI in fracture detection. Amanda also holds multiple positions at the Royal College of Radiologists, including membership on the AI Advisory Committee and the Global Education Faculty, and contributes as Co-chair of the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion group at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. Furthermore, Amanda is the Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist at The Wellington Hospital and participates in various professional organizations, including BASEM and ISMRM. Academic credentials include an FRCP from the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, an FRCR from The Royal College of Radiologists, and a MRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, alongside a medical degree from Cairo University.
