Emi Cox

Emi Cox has an extensive background in laboratory and medical services, currently working at HCA Florida Laboratory Services since May 2011 in various clinical lab roles, including microbiology and histology. Previous experience includes positions as a lab processor at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital and charge phlebotomist at Tampa General Hospital. Emi began a career in healthcare at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center as a Phlebotomist II, after several earlier roles, including as a medical assistant at the University of South Florida. Beyond healthcare, Emi worked in field services, inventory, and financial analysis with Entex Information Services in both Mason, Ohio, and San Diego, California. Educational achievements include an associate degree in Medical Administrative Assisting from Southwestern College of Business and a certification in Emergency Medical Technology from Cincinnati State Technical and Community College.
