Matthew Johnston

Matthew Johnston has a strong background in healthcare administration. Matthew currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Trinity Hospital with HCA Florida Healthcare, starting in August 2022. Prior to this role, they served as Vice President of Operations at HCA Healthcare from October 2020 to August 2022. Before that, they held various positions within HCA Healthcare, including Administrator, Perioperative Business Director, and Operating Room Materials Manager. Matthew also started their career as an Administrative Resident at HCA Healthcare. Matthew's work experience also includes an Administrative Internship at VCU Health System: MCV Physicians from November 2010 to November 2011.

Matthew Johnston earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Brigham Young University in 2010. Matthew then went on to pursue a Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, which they completed in 2013.
