Michael Schlosser

Michael Schlosser is a highly experienced healthcare leader with a diverse background in clinical operations and medical management. Currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors at Commure since September 2021, Michael has held significant roles at HCA Healthcare from March 2017 to January 2025, including Senior Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer, Senior Vice President of Care Transformation and Innovation, and Chief Medical Officer of the HCA National Group. Prior experience includes Chief Medical Officer at HealthTrust Purchasing Group and Medical Director at Parallon. From 2008 to 2015, Michael was Chief of Staff and Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Centennial Medical Center, where responsibility included overseeing a medical staff of over 1,000 physicians and leading initiatives to improve physician engagement in operational processes. Michael holds an M.D. from Yale School of Medicine and an M.B.A. from Vanderbilt University.
