Randy Claiborne

Randy Claiborne, CSM, has extensive experience in information protection and security, currently serving as the Director of Information Protection & Security at HCA Healthcare since February 2012, following roles as Manager and Senior Project Manager within the same division. Responsibilities included strategic engagement, annual portfolio planning, process improvement, and project management for EU GDPR initiatives. Prior to HCA Healthcare, Randy worked at Borders for 17 years, holding positions as Purchasing Manager and Operations Manager, where significant purchasing processes and distribution operations were developed and managed. Earlier experience includes a General Manager role at Taco Bell with PepsiCo and serving as Personnel Information Systems Manager in the US Army. Randy holds a Master of Professional Science in Strategic Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from Middle Tennessee State University.
