Sheila Renfro

Sheila Renfro is a seasoned laboratory management professional with extensive experience in healthcare settings. Currently semi-retired from HCA Healthcare since May 2024, Sheila previously served as the Director of Laboratory Services at HCA Florida Citrus Hospital from September 2020 to May 2024 and at Doctors Hospital of Sarasota from April 2017 to September 2020. Prior roles include Laboratory Manager at Ocala Health and Administrative Supervisor at HCA Healthcare for a three-hospital system. Sheila began their career as a Generalist Technologist at Tishomingo County Hospital and has progressively taken on leadership positions, managing laboratory operations, compliance, staffing, and budgeting. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare from the University of North Alabama, along with an Associate of Science in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Technician from Northeast Mississippi Community College.
