Briana Brownell is the Dr. ANIE Creator & Co-Founder at Hcare Health. Briana has a long and varied work history that includes managerial positions in analytics and research, as well as experience as a proprietary equities trader and industry research fellow.

Brownell began their career in 2006 as an independent contractor for Swift FX Inc., where they traded proprietary equities on the NYSE. In 2007, they joined Insightrix Research Inc. as Manager of Analytics, using advanced statistical and analytical methodologies to help clients in many different industries expand their business, enhance the effectiveness of their marketing, and successfully introduce new products.

In 2015, Brownell left Insightrix to take on a new role as Industry Research Fellow at the University of Saskatchewan’s Numerical Simulation Lab. In this position, they collaborated with researchers from many different disciplines to study pricing strategy, product positioning, sales forecasting and advertising ROI. The modelling techniques they developed brought together researchers from many different disciplines including economics, marketing, computer science, physics and applied mathematics.

Brownell’s passion for helping businesses improve their performance in-market led their to co-found Hcare Health in 2017. Hcare Health is a healthcare technology company that provides data-driven solutions to help healthcare organizations optimize their operations.

Briana Brownell has a Master of Arts in Economics from Carleton University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Saskatchewan.

They are on a team with Leslie Meehan - Community Systems Weaver & Co-Founder, Hugh Shyba - Director, Ecosystem Procurement, and Megan Thorp - Co-Founder, COO. Their manager is Roger Sanford, CEO, Chairman & Partner.
