Herbert Boshoff van der Merwe

Herbert Boshoff Van Der Merwe has extensive work experience in the field of actuarial science and risk management. Herbert Boshoff most recently served as the Head of Actuarial - Health at HCF Australia. Prior to that, they worked as an Actuary - Outcomes Modelling at the National Disability Insurance Agency. Herbert Boshoff also held positions at ANZ, First State Super, Swiss Re, MMI (Momentum / Metropolitan), Arthur Els & Associates Consulting Actuaries, Deloitte, and Alexander Forbes. Their roles involved responsibilities such as risk management, product development, pricing, financial analysis, and client management.

Herbert Boshoff Van Der Merwe attended Westonaria High School. Herbert Boshoff then went on to complete a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematical Statistics and Probability and Mathematics from Rand Afrikaans University. After that, they pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Management - Actuarial Sciences from the University of Cape Town. Herbert Boshoff furthered their education by becoming a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa and a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in London, specializing in Actuarial Science.
