Prior to that, they completed their BA in Economics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition to their educational background, Evans holds several certifications. A. David is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), having obtained their certification in July 2015 from the North Carolina State Board of CPA Examiners. Evans also holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation, which they achieved in May 2017 from the CAIA Association. Furthermore, they obtained the Series 27 - Financial and Operations Principal certification from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) in August 2015, although it has since expired. Most recently, in June 2023, Evans obtained the CAIA Private Debt Microcredential and the UniFi by CAIA Private Debt Microcredential from the CAIA Association.
