Thareef Ahamed

Thareef Ahamed is an accomplished procurement professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Procurement at HCL Global Systems Inc since August 2025, Thareef previously held the same position at Tahaluf Al Emarat Technical Solutions from November 2017 to July 2025, where significant improvements in operational efficiency and cost reduction were achieved. Thareef's career began at Alpha Data as a Service Center Coordinator, followed by a role as an IT Procurement Specialist at Abu Dhabi Police, where major IT procurement initiatives were successfully executed. Educational qualifications include an Executive Mini MBA from the London School of Business and Finance, a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Madras, and a Master of Business Administration from Indira Gandhi National Open University.
