Alan McLachlan

Alan McLachlan is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software development and architecture, primarily within the realms of endpoint solutions and user interface management systems. As a Principal Architect at HCL Software since October 2008, Alan architects solutions for the BigFix product line, leveraging expertise in C++ for multiple operating systems and IoT devices. Prior roles include Platform Architect at IBM, where Alan contributed to web-based user interface management using Node.js and AngularJS, and Senior Software Engineer at BigFix, Inc., developing the BigFix Agent across various platforms. Earlier experience includes positions at Microsoft, Thinstall, and Adobe Systems, with a strong focus on driver development, application virtualization, and graphics management.
