Gabriel Dalla Costa's work experience includes several roles at different companies. In 2011, they worked as the Chief of Internal Medicine and Hospital Medicine at Hospital Mãe de Deus. From 2011 to 2014, they were a Professor of Semiology and Preceptor for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at ULBRA. In 2013, they joined Hospital Moinhos de Vento, where they worked as a Medical Coordinator, a Manager and as a Medical Doctor in the Internal Medicine Department. Gabriel also served as a Member of the Advisory Board at UpToDate from 2015 to 2018. In 2017, they joined Fundação Dom Cabral as a faculty member for the Health Post-Graduation program. In 2019, they became the Executive Manager of the Oncology and Medical Innovation Center at BP - A Beneficência Portuguesa de São Paulo. In 2020, they worked as the Executive Medical and Healthcare Manager at Hospital BP Mirante. In 2021, they joined Pipeline Capital as a Business Partner, focusing on the Health vertical. Additionally, since January 2021, they have held the position of Medical Superintendent (CMO) at HCor.

Gabriel pursued a Master's degree in Epidemiology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul from 2018 to 2020. In 2018, they also participated in the Erasmus Summer Programme at Erasmus University Rotterdam, focusing on Biostatistics and Epidemiology.
Prior to that, Gabriel completed an Executive MBA in Health Administration from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas between 2013 and 2015.
In 2011, Gabriel attended the Cleveland Clinic, where they completed a program in Perioperative Medicine called IMPACT.
From 2007 to 2009, Gabriel undertook a residency in Internal Medicine at Hospital Nossa Senhora da Conceição. During this time, in 2008, they also completed an internship in the Department of Hospital Medicine at Harvard University and another one at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Gabriel's educational journey began with their MD degree from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, which they obtained from 2001 to 2006.
Additionally, Gabriel has obtained various certifications, including "Value-Based Care: Introduction to Value-Based Care and the U.S. Healthcare System" from the University of Houston (obtained in June 2023), "Leading Healthcare Quality and Safety" from The George Washington University (obtained in October 2021), and multiple certifications in Palliative Care from the University of Colorado in January 2021. Gabriel has also completed courses in Strategic Management from Copenhagen Business School and "¿Qué hacen los buenos directivos? Prioridades de la Alta Dirección" from IESE Business School, both obtained in August 2020. Lastly, Gabriel has completed an online course in Essential Epidemiologic Tools for Public Health Practice from Johns Hopkins Medicine and courses in Health Care Innovation and Management Fundamentals from Wharton Online.
