Paul Maeder

Paul Maeder is the Chair and Founding Partner at Highland Capital Partners, a venture capital firm they co-founded in 1988. Prior to Highland, Paul was a General Partner at CRV (Charles River Ventures).

Paul has been involved in many notable investments including Akamai Technologies, Brightcove, HubSpot, Millennial Media, Starent Networks, and Vonage. Paul also sits on the boards of several companies, including AppNexus, Cimpress, and The Muse.

Paul has a B.A. in Economics from Harvard University.

Paul Maeder has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School, a MSE in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, and a BSE in Mechanical Engineering from Princeton University. Paul also has a High School Diploma from Moses Brown School.
