J.t. Petherick

J.T. Petherick is an accomplished professional in government relations and public affairs, currently serving as the Associate Vice President at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma & Texas since June 2012. Prior to this role, J.T. held positions as Health Legislative Officer at the Cherokee Nation from January 2006 to June 2012, Executive Director at the National Indian Health Board from June 2002 to December 2005, and Deputy Director at the Oklahoma Indian Affairs Commission from June 1998 to March 2002. J.T. earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Health Administration and Policy from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Northeastern State University.
