Peter Young has extensive experience in the cybersecurity field, currently serving in CyberSecurity Identity Access Management at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma & Texas since May 2005. Expertise includes PKI certificate management utilizing the Venafi Trust Platform Protection and Hardware Security Modules, along with current work on Single Sign-On with CA Siteminder. Prior to this role, Peter served as a Cybersecurity Analyst at HCSC Insurance Services Company from May 2005 until retirement in January 2023, specializing in PKI. Earlier experience includes a position in network operations at United Airlines from 1995 to 2005. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Information Systems from Carroll University, completed in 1992, and graduated from Thomas More High School in 1973.
