Yasmeen Hassan is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in journalism and communications. Currently serving as Co-Founder of HCue since September 2021, Yasmeen previously worked as a Media Relations Senior Specialist for the City of Austin from June 2021 to December 2023. Prior roles include anchoring news at WBBM | CBS Chicago and KTNV Channel 13 Action News, reporting at KOVR-TV | CBS Sacramento, and serving as a producer at KTVK. Yasmeen began a career in media with an associate producer position at Fox News. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Media Studies from the University of Arizona, Yasmeen combines a strong academic foundation with a diverse professional background.

Their experience includes more than 40 years as on-air television journalists and public information specialists in Austin, Las Vegas and the CBS stations in Chicago, Philadelphia and Sacramento. The name HCue (pronounced HQ) is a play on words that comes from a combination of their last names, Hassan and Quinones. The duo wants to reiterate their trade by replacing the letter “Q” with the word “cue,” as in that is your cue to speak. In addition to its client messaging consulting services, HCue provides media training and crisis communication planning. Hassan and Quinones are also available to moderate, host and emcee events.
