Varghese George is a Senior Scientist at HCW Biologics, with previous experience as a Scientist at Altor Bioscience Corporation. Varghese also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Miami, focusing on the effects of HIV infection and age on influenza vaccine responses. Varghese has a Ph.D. in Medical Microbiology and has conducted research on potential biomarkers in Immune reconstitution Inflammatory syndrome (IRIS) in HIV infection. Varghese has also worked on isolating influenza specific T cell and B cells using tetramer based technology. Prior to their current roles, Varghese was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Florida International University - Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine.
