Jean-Michel Carter, Ph.D., serves as the Director of Research and Development at HDEnergy since February 2020. Previously, Jean-Michel held the position of Head of Research and Development at Evolution Optiks Limited and worked as an R&D Scientist at Parker Hannifin - Micro Thermo Technologies. An independent consultant from January 2012 to December 2013, Jean-Michel provided expertise to a mortgage insurance firm, developing a numerical solution to a complex mathematical problem. Jean-Michel completed a Ph.D. in Physics at the University of Toronto, where four papers were published in the Physical Review and presentations were made at various national and international conferences. Additionally, Jean-Michel has experience as a Scout Master with Scouts Canada and as a Full-Time Missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, contributing to significant translation work. A Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Physics was obtained from McGill University.

We have created a unique performance monitoring system which helps owners continuously optimize and maintain energy savings. Since 2010, we managed over 50 supermarkets energy projects; of these projects, an average of 30% savings in energy bills has been returned to the supermarket owners. The Analytics Tools that we developed use our expertise and knowledge to prevent critical energy problems and help to obtain optimal energy savings.
