Shantanu Pusalkar

Shantanu Pusalkar currently serves as Vice President and Vertical Head of Content Marketing and Social Media Engagement at HDFC Bank, a position held since May 2025. Prior to this role, Shantanu was self-employed as an educator and mentor, providing content strategy and brand solutions consulting for leading consumer-facing brands, while also guest lecturing at top sports management institutes in Mumbai. From May 2022 to May 2023, Shantanu was the Director of Creative Services at Firework, overseeing the operational strategies for the video commerce platform. Additionally, during the tenure at Sportskeeda from March 2021 to March 2022, Shantanu significantly increased the video content business revenue by five times using a content-led growth strategy. Earlier experience includes serving as Associate Director and Head of Video Content at ESPN from March 2017 to August 2020, where management of digital and TV content strategy contributed to audience growth. Shantanu holds an Executive Education degree from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a Post Graduate Diploma in Media & Broadcast Journalism from the Asian College of Journalism.
