Dr. Alexander Wiebe has a comprehensive work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Dr. Alexander currently serves as the Managing Director of HDI art&lifestyle insurance at HDI Group DE since September 2020. Prior to their current role, they worked at AXA for many years, starting in 2003. During their time at AXA, they held various positions, including Global CFO of AXA ART Versicherung AG, Director of Corporate Finance for the Northern, Central, and Eastern European Region, and Vice President of Corporate Development in Germany. Dr. Alexander also served as the CMO for the US & CAN since January 2019. Additionally, they worked at Deutsche Bank as an M&A Consultant from September 2002 to August 2003, and at Gerling as the Assistant to the CEO of Gerling Credit Insurance Group from August 2000 to August 2002. Dr. Alexander started their career at debis as a Consultant at debis IT Services from June 1999 to July 2000.

Dr. Alexander Wiebe has a diverse education history. Dr. Alexander earned their Erste juristische Staatsprüfung in Rechtswissenschaften from The University of Göttingen in 1994. Dr. Alexander then pursued their academic career further and obtained an LL.M. from the University of Wales in 1997. In the same year, they completed their Ph.D. in Law from The University of Göttingen. Later, in 1999, they also obtained an MBA (Diplom-Kaufmann) in Business Administration (Betriebswirtschaftslehre) from The University of Göttingen.
