Joachim Schönfelder has extensive work experience in the IT field. Joachim started their career as a Junior Software Developer and Intern at Hannoversche Lebensversicherung AG in 2001. Joachim then worked at VHV Versicherungen as a Software Developer and later as a Project Manager from 2004 to 2011. At HDI Group, Joachim held various roles including Program Manager IT from 2011 to 2015, Head of IT Corporate Development & Procurement from 2016 to 2019, and currently serves as the Head of Digital Workplace / SVP since April 2019. Their responsibilities at HDI Group include managing the digital workplace services for over 16,000 users worldwide, providing technology services, user experience services, and ensuring user adoption and satisfaction.
Joachim Schönfelder obtained a Diplom-Informatiker (FH) degree in Informatik from FHDW Hannover from 2001 to 2004. Joachim also completed a certification as a Fachinformatiker Anwendungsentwicklung from Industrie- und Handelskammer Hannover in 2004. In addition, they obtained certifications such as Professional Scrum Product Owner™ I (PSPO I) from Scrum.org (expected in 2023), Certified SAFe 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. (obtained in November 2021), and Senior Projektmanager GPM, IPMA Level B from IPMA: International Project Management Association (obtained in December 2010).
