Daniel Pfeifer

Daniel Pfeifer is a highly experienced engineer specializing in transportation hydraulics and water resources. Since June 2008, Daniel has served as the Southwest Transportation Hydraulics Business Class Manager and previously as a Water Resource Engineer/Transportation Engineer at HDR, focusing on large-scale infrastructure development that encompasses transportation drainage, bridge design, and river and stream restoration. Expertise includes HEC-1, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, GIS, Scour Analysis, MicroStation, VBasic, XP-SWMM, and Civil3D design applications. Prior experience also includes serving as Secretary at AFMA from 2014 to 2016 and interning at Pender Engineering, where Daniel gained experience in site civil design and hydraulic and hydrologic analysis. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Northern Arizona University, completed in 2008.
