Farah Mahjabeen Omar

Farah Mahjabeen Omar is an experienced Environmental Project Manager currently employed at HDR since June 2023. Prior to this role, Farah held positions as an Associate/Environmental Planner at Sam Schwartz from July 2021 to June 2023, and served in various capacities at the NYC Department of City Planning from June 2014 to July 2021, including Team Leader/Zoning Specialist and Project Manager/City Planner III. Additional experience includes working as an Environmental Scientist II at Parsons Brinckerhoff and as an Air Quality Specialist at the NYC Department of City Planning. Farah’s career began at the NYC Department of Environmental Protection as a Project Manager/Air Quality & Noise Reviewer. Academically, Farah holds a Master of Science in Environmental Sciences and Policy from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from The City College of New York.
