Lauren Murphy

Lauren Murphy is a Mechanical Engineer-in-Training at HDR since May 2022, focusing on Building Engineering Services. Prior to this role, Lauren worked as an English Editor and Energy Modeler at the University of Maryland, where responsibilities included summarizing COVID-19 research and editing scientific papers for publication. Relevant experience also includes a Mechanical Engineering Internship at Stanley Black & Decker, where design and analysis of test rigs and customer data visualization were key tasks. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, complemented by minors in Spanish Language, Culture, and Professional Contexts, and Sustainability Studies, as well as a semester at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
