Matt Bond

Matt Bond is a seasoned professional in the water utility sector, currently serving as Vice President and Principal Program Delivery Lead at HDR since May 2022, specializing in utility management services and wastewater/biosolids. Previously, from May 2017 to May 2022, Matt held the position of Deputy Director at KC Water, overseeing multiple engineering divisions and managing regulatory compliance and laboratory services. Prior roles include Chief Engineering Officer at KC Water, Associate Vice President at Black & Veatch, and Deputy Chief Engineer at Johnson County. Matt's extensive experience also includes a presidential term with the Water Environment Federation and a lengthy tenure at Black & Veatch, starting as a Project Manager in 1983. Matt holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
