HDR
Robert Lewis is a Coastal Engineering Engineer-in-Training (EIT) at HDR since January 2021, contributing to the channel deepening project at the Port of Freeport through dredging volume calculations, cost estimates, technical specifications, and met-ocean analyses. Previously, Robert gained experience as a Civil Engineering Intern at Baker Design Build, a Student Researcher at the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez’s Center for Applied Ocean Science and Engineering, and participated in several research projects, including erosion studies at O.H. Hinsdale Wave Laboratory. Robert's early career included teaching mathematics in Costa Rica and developing curriculum for various grade levels. Robert holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad de Puerto Rico and a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Math Education from the University of North Florida.
