Sallie Salvidant

Sallie was brought up and educated in Kenya. She was Head of Bute House Preparatory School for Girls in London from 1993 to 2012, and was previously Head of Rupert House Preparatory School in Henley-on-Thames for six years. She has also undertaken a two term Interim Head Consultancy at Headington Prep School, Oxford. Earlier in her career she was Head of Pre-Prep in a boys’ prep school in London.

She has taught the 4-11 age range in the state sector (London ILEA) for eight years and has also taught abroad in North Yemen. Mrs. Salvidant is an IAPS Mentor and Appraiser, was an ISI Team Inspector and is a governor of two other schools in the UK and one in Paris.

She is an a Educational Consultant and particularly enjoys undertaking in-depth head's appraisals. She also acts as an external adviser for schools when appointing their Heads. She is married to a musician, lives in Devon and has one adult daughter, two Hungarian Vizslas and various Siamese cats. Sallie became a Governor of Headington School in 2016. Sallie sits on the Education Committee.
