Joshua Runge

Joshua Runge has a strong background in frontend software engineering and development. Joshua is currently working as a Lead Frontend Software Engineer at Headroom Inc. since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Frontend Developer - Architecture at Ab Initio Software from June 2017 to July 2018 and as a Frontend Consultant at Aquto from September 2016 to September 2017. At Aquto, they also held the position of Lead Frontend Developer from July 2012 to September 2016. Before that, they co-founded and served as Technical Co-Founder at LazyMeter, LLC from December 2009 to December 2013.

Joshua also has experience as a Mobile Web Developer at MobileAware from February 2012 to July 2012, where they worked on creating new features for mobile web applications, developed backend services, and contributed to the adoption of new technologies. Additionally, they worked as a Website Consultant at KlearKase from April 2010 to September 2010 and as a UX Program Manager at Bing, Microsoft Corporation from March 2009 to December 2009.

Joshua's early career included roles as a Computer Vision Researcher at MIT from April 2008 to February 2009 and as a Program Manager Intern at Microsoft from June 2007 to August 2007. Overall, they have demonstrated expertise in frontend development, architecture, consultancy, and program management across various industries and organizations.

Joshua Runge received their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Cambridge from 2005 to 2006. Joshua then went on to pursue a Master of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2003 to 2009.
