Samarth Narang

Samarth Narang is the Chief Executive Officer of Heads Up For Tails, India's leading pet brand, overseeing an extensive range of merchandise and retail operations across 106 stores in India and 3 in Singapore since February 2015. Prior to this role, Samarth served as a Portfolio Manager at QVT Financial LP, focusing on Long/Short Equity and Credit Investments in the Asia Pacific, particularly in the Consumer and Healthcare sectors from September 2008 to September 2014. Samarth also held key positions at Jefferies LLC as Vice President of Investment Banking, where responsibilities included executing over 19 equity and credit deals as a founding member of the Jefferies India team, and at HSBC Securities as an Investment Banking Associate. Samarth began a career in investment banking at Merrill Lynch as an Analyst from 2003 to 2005. Samarth holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Management from Washington University in St. Louis, earned between 1998 and 2002.
