Iain MacMillan

Iain Macmillan has extensive experience in psychiatry, focusing on youth early psychosis and mental health. Currently serving as a Consultant Psychiatrist at headspace and an Adjunct Senior Lecturer in Psychiatry at Monash University since October 2018, Iain previously held key leadership roles including Head of Youth Mental Health at Peninsula Health and Clinical Director at Royal Hobart Hospital. Iain was also the Lead for Academic Clinical Collaboration in Psychosis at Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust and contributed to NHS England as the Regional EI Clinical Lead for Psychiatry. Educational credentials include an MA in Medical Sciences from the University of Cambridge and an MB.BS from the University of London, complemented by significant involvement in clinical and research governance at institutions such as Orygen and the Black Dog Institute.
