Monty Prekeris

Monty Prekeris is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering, product development, and data science. As Co-Founder of Headway Cooperative since January 2022, Monty previously served as VP of Engineering & Product at VORTO, where responsibilities included leading the development team and overseeing product development for an in-house trucking carrier. In prior roles, Monty directed engineering and data science teams at Uplight and Tendril, driving significant advancements in APIs, analytics, and data platforms, as well as leading cross-functional teams in energy analytics and machine learning initiatives. Monty's technical expertise was honed early in their career at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, where large-scale image analysis was developed, and at Intel Corporation, focusing on firmware development. Monty earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Computer, and Energy Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2012.
