Mark Kennedy

Mark joined Headway in September, 2021, and has worked in human services as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has an additional six years experience as a volunteer in human services. He has experience working with youth and adults, including intensive work with the LGBTQ+ community, specifically the Transgender community. He says “it takes a lot of courage to trust and open up to someone in a vulnerable time,” and hopes to work as partners with his clients and their families to ensure they get the support and resources they need.

When he’s not working Mark enjoys video games, furniture restoration and wood working.
