David Simons

David Simons, LPC, NCC, has extensive experience in the field of counseling and psychotherapy, currently serving as a Licensed Professional Counselor at Rula, Headway, and Encourage-ment since 2025. Prior to this, David held the position of Psychotherapist at Heritage Valley Health System from July 2023 to March 2025. As Director of Wellness Support at The Better Institute from April 2022 to July 2023, responsibilities included overseeing policies and procedures, staff training, and counseling. David also served as Clinical Supervisor at ABC Associates, where duties involved onboarding staff, conducting individual counseling sessions, and leading case consultations from January 2020 to July 2022. Earlier roles included positions at various educational institutions and healthcare settings, emphasizing individual and group counseling, case management, and assessments. David holds a Master’s Degree in Counselor Education from Duquesne University and a Bachelor's degree in History from Geneva College.
