Lucas Chi

Lucas Chi is a seasoned technology leader currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Headway, where responsibilities include leading product and platform teams focused on enhancing backend capabilities and user-facing experimentation, as well as overseeing cybersecurity risk across the organization. Prior to Headway, Lucas held the position of Senior Engineering Manager for Cloud Platform at SeatGeek and served as Engineering Director at Teachers Pay Teachers, leading multiple teams in the development of a school-focused SaaS offering. Lucas's earlier experience includes significant roles at Venmo, where as Engineering Manager, critical scalability objectives were met during periods of rapid user growth, and at OkCupid Labs, where core features for a recommendation product were architected. Lucas holds a BS in Computer Science from Columbia Engineering and has further developed skills at the Recurse Center.
