Rita Mathew

Rita Mathew is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience in mental health services. Currently, Rita serves as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Headway since September 2025 and provides therapy at Spring Health since November 2021, offering in-person and virtual evidence-based therapy for individuals and couples. Previous roles include positions at Grow Therapy, Kaiser Permanente, LifeLong Medical Care, Aspire Public Schools, A Better Way, Inc., Fred Finch Youth & Family Services, Project Avary, and Seneca Family of Agencies. Rita's expertise encompasses crisis intervention, telepsychiatry, clinical assessments, supervision of clinicians, and therapeutic support, reinforced by a Master’s degree in Social Welfare from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University, Fullerton.
