Stephen Fitzpatrick

Stephen Fitzpatrick has an extensive work history and a comprehensive understanding of the Victorian health system gained from 30 years holding senior roles across various Victorian State government departments and public hospitals. Organisations included Austin Health, Alfred Health and the Australian Red Cross Blood Service. In the latter appointment Stephen managed the government relations and communications functions and was responsible for the successful renegotiation of a $5 billion 9 year contract. He currently holds the role of Business Manager Medical Imaging and Laboratory Services at the Royal Children’s Hospital.

Stephen’s commitment to the health care sector is reflected in significant appointments that included a 10 year membership on the Board of Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), the leading association for health industry financial staff. The position included two years as President and two as Vice President. He is also a current Board member of MOVE (previously Arthritis Victoria).

Stephen brings to the board substantial strategic and operational experience related to the health sector.
