HEAL (Health, Education and Leadership) International is a non-denominational organization based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada that responds to local priorities in Uganda. We respond by building on strengths and providing opportunities through the support of education, health initiatives and leadership development.
We believe

-  Health and education should be viewed from its broadest perspective and as assets for community development 
- In a wide view of educational opportunities from primary to post-secondary education
-  In addition to children, families and communities must also benefit

Our Goals
- Advance the education of children and young adults
- Improve and promote health in communities
- Develop facilities and programs to carry out activities that provide medical aid, supplies and treatment to individuals and families
- Foster leadership by encouraging volunteerism and community participation
- Support self-sufficiency through vocational training and other strategies
