Healgen Scientific
Cindy Horton is the CEO of Healgen Scientific, a subsidiary of Zhejiang Orient Gene Biotech Co., Ltd. Cindy is responsible for developing, manufacturing, and commercializing in-vitro diagnostic test systems globally. Prior to this role, Cindy was a Board Member for the National Onsite Testing Association. Cindy also served as the Vice President and General Manager of Alere, Inc., overseeing the commercial activities for NA Workplace and managing sales, distribution, and business development for toxicology. During their time at Alere, Cindy achieved significant revenue growth, implemented strategic planning, regulatory and compliance programs, and participated in multiple mergers and acquisitions. Cindy also played a key role in transitioning accounts and business development functions during the acquisition of Applied Biotech by Alere/Inverness. Earlier in their career, Cindy was the Director of Sales for Forefront Diagnostics Inc., where they commercialized lateral flow products for toxicology. Their customer base included OEM's and channel partners.
Cindy Horton attained a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Media Studies/Political Science from Winthrop University, which was completed between 1982 and 1986.
