David Hout

David Hout has a diverse work experience in the scientific and medical field. David is currently the Senior Director of Sales - Molecular at Healgen Scientific since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Oncocyte Corporation from 2020 to 2022 as the GM, East Coast Facility & Pharma Operations. Before that, David held various roles at Insight Genetics Inc, including Chief Operating Officer from 2018 to 2020, Vice President of R&D from 2011 to 2018, Director of R&D in 2010, and Senior Scientist from 2009 to 2010. David also worked as a Research fellow at Vanderbilt University Medical School from 2006 to 2009 and as a Graduate Student at the University of Kansas Medical Center from 2002 to 2006. David started their career as a Senior Research Microbiologist at Ceva Biomune from 1998 to 2002.

David Hout completed their Ph.D in Molecular Biology at the University of Kansas Medical Center from 2001 to 2006. David also obtained additional certifications, including one from LinkedIn on Self-Awareness, Authenticity, and Leadership in 2021, and another as a Certified Clinical Laboratory Supervisor State of TN from MB (ASCP).
