Dr. Coury has more than 40 years of expertise in the field of Biomaterials, including senior management roles: Director of Polymer Technology and Corporate Research Fellow at Medtronic, VP of Research and CSO at Focal, VP of Biomaterials Research at Genzyme. He was elected to the National Academy of Engineering and has been recognized as one of “100 Notable People in the Medical Device Industry” by MD&DI magazine. Dr. Coury holds a PhD in organic chemistry and an MBA from University of Minnesota.
