Junichi Kotera

Junichi Kotera, has over 30 years of experience in manufacturing at pharmaceutical companies. He set up new manufacturing facilities for Fujisawa Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (currently Astellas Pharma Inc.) in the United States and Ireland, and he has managed and supervised production sites as the factory manager of Astellas Takaoka Factory (currently Astellas Pharma Tec Co., Ltd.). He has also served as a factory manager and executive officer at GlaxoSmithKline plc.

He joined Healios in 2017 and has served as the General Manager of the Manufacturing Department of Sighregen Co., Ltd., a joint venture between Healios and Sumitomo Dainippon Pharma Co., Ltd., the General Manager of the Manufacturing Division of Healios and an Executive Officer in charge of manufacturing since 2022.
