Caroline Durand

Caroline Durand has a diverse work experience spanning over several organizations. In 2006, they started their career at Sanofi Pasteur, where they focused on development, industrialization, and analytical development until 2010. Following this, they joined Fab'entech as the Head of Pharmaceutical Affairs, serving as the Qualified Person/Pharmacien Responsible from 2010 to 2016. In 2018, Caroline joined the EspeRare foundation as a Programme Leader, collaborating with patient groups and stakeholders to uncover therapeutic opportunities in rare diseases. Caroline later took on the role of Clinical Programme Leader, contributing to bridging the translational gap in rare disease drug development. Currently, since 2020, Caroline is the Co-Founder and Chief Development Officer at Healshape.

Caroline Durand began their education at Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 in 2000, where they pursued a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree. Caroline completed their studies at this institution in 2006. Additionally, from 2004 to 2006, Caroline attended Polytechnique Montréal, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree with a focus on Chemical - Biopharmaceutical.
