Sinead Rice Madigan has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Sinead Rice began their career as a Director at the Illinois Division of Insurance, where they served as the Director of the Senior Health Insurance Program (SHIP) from December 2002 to July 2006. Sinead Rice then moved on to the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services, where they worked as the Chief of Pharmacy Services from July 2006 to May 2008.
In 2005, Sinead took on a new challenge and became an Owner/Partner at Hickory River Smokehouse. After a year, they transitioned to the corporate sector and joined Health Alliance. Sinead Rice started as a Pharmacy Medicare Specialist in March 2008 and later became the Corporate Relations Manager from October 2009 to July 2010. Sinead then moved up the ranks and held several management positions, including Director of Government Relations and Executive Director of Medicaid and Government Relations.
Currently, Sinead is the President and CEO of Health Alliance since August 2022. Prior to their appointment as CEO, they served as the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Government Relations and Business Operations.
Throughout their career, Sinead has demonstrated expertise in government relations, legislative strategy, and healthcare reform implementation. Sinead Rice has also showcased their leadership abilities in managing government accounts and responding to government requests for proposals.
Sinead Rice Madigan earned their Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Geography from Illinois State University between 1991 and 1995.
