Chris Mumby

Chris Mumby is an accomplished professional in the field of safety and risk assessment, currently serving as a Principal Specialist Inspector at the Health and Safety Executive since October 2015, leading a team of inspectors and specializing in predictive risk assessment for high hazard onshore installations. Prior to this role, Chris worked as a Project Engineer at MMI Engineering, focusing on offshore risk assessments, and as a Senior Safety Engineer at DNV GL - Oil & Gas, where Chris contributed to significant CFD work and won awards for outstanding performance. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Chemical Engineering and a BSc (Hons) in Physics and Computing, both from Loughborough University.
