Guy Mercer

Guy Mercer is a Regulatory Scientist specializing in Ecotoxicology with current experience at the Health and Safety Executive, focused on non-target organism studies and risk assessments for active substances and product approvals. Prior to this, Guy held positions as a Workshop/Laboratory Demonstrator at Queen Mary University of London and as an intern at Earthwatch Europe, leading a project on sewage treatment works' contribution to phosphate pollution. Guy's academic background includes dual PhDs in Environmental Toxicology from Royal Holloway, University of London, and Queen Mary University of London, alongside an MRes in Mechanistic & Molecular Toxicology and a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from the University of Birmingham.
