Jim Murphy

Jim Murphy has served as a Higher Executive Officer at the Health and Safety Executive since 1996, leading technical efforts in data warehousing for the Discovering Safety Programme in partnership with the Lloyd's Register Foundation and other external stakeholders. Murphy possesses extensive experience in maintaining administrative data systems, coordinating with UK regulatory bodies, assuring data quality for national statistics, and engaging in European and international statistical initiatives. Previous roles include positions as Executive Officer and Administrative Officer at the Office for National Statistics from 1990 to 1996, along with an educational background that includes studies at Hugh Baird University Centre and Teesside University, as well as Salesian High School.
