Joe Quinn

Joe Quinn is a seasoned professional in risk assessment and safety consultancy, currently serving as a Specialist Risk Assessor at the Health and Safety Executive since April 2021 and as the Director/Safety Consultant at JQ Consultants Limited since December 2020. With extensive experience at Atkins from 2004 to 2020, Joe became a key member of the Technical Safety Team, leading technical safety services for Shell and contributing to significant LNG projects. Previous roles include Lead Safety Engineer at Woodside Energy and Senior Safety Consultant at SBM Offshore, along with a tenure in HSE roles at Shell and Atkins, where foundational skills in quantitative risk assessment and formal safety assessments were developed. Joe holds a BEng in Chemical Engineering with Energy Resource Engineering from Heriot-Watt University.
