Karl Wirström

Karl Wirström has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over a decade. Karl began their career as a Web Developer at Upsala Nya Tidning in 2004. From there, they worked as a Developer at Acme Labs in 2005 and then as a Consultant at Teknik i Media AB and Trive AB in 2006. Karl transitioned to System Development roles at Teknik i Media AB, Mogul, and Lokaltidningen Mitt i from 2007 to 2009.

In 2009, Wirström joined Metro Nordic Sweden AB, where they worked in various roles. Karl started as a Java Developer and Scrum Master before becoming a Technical Manager and Senior Developer. Karl then progressed to become the Utvecklingschef Java and subsequently the Acting CTO. In 2017, they took on the role of Head Of Development / Utvecklingschef, and in 2018, they became the CTO / Head of Development / Chef för utveckling på Metro, until they left in March.

In 2018, Wirström joined Health and Sports Nutrition Group AB as a Technical Project Manager and later transitioned to the role of VP of Engineering in February 2019, where they are currently employed.

Karl Wirström attended Mid Sweden University from 1999 to 2004, where they pursued a degree in Mediascience. No information regarding the obtained degree is provided.
