Lorna Blair is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in labour relations, occupational health, and wellness management. Currently serving as a Labour Consultant at Health Association Nova Scotia since April 2023, Lorna previously held various senior roles at VON Canada, including Senior Director of Occupational Health & Wellness and Senior Director of Labour, with responsibilities encompassing claims management, process improvement, and HR departmental management. Additional experience includes roles as a Labour Relations Consultant at Halifax Regional Municipality and Employee Health Manager at Chignecto Central Regional School Board. Lorna began a career in employee relations at NSGEU and has a strong foundation in healthcare supervision from Canadian Blood Services. Lorna holds multiple qualifications, including certifications in nonviolent crisis intervention and workplace mental health leadership, along with a degree as a Registered Medical Laboratory Technologist from Nova Scotia Institute of Technology.
